Manual inspection of components with hand gauges is a quite common practice in production and the shop floor environment
In most cases the inspection is made with traditional instruments with no interconnection to any computer environment
In some cases, where the hand tools are newer, the interconnection is provided by dedicated SDK from the manufacturer

The outcome of RollOver is a “Power Point” style slide show that guides the User step by step along the measurement process
A series of templates is available, the programmer selects one and fills the template with some of the following fields:
- Title of the task
- Description of the task
- Connection to a specific device
- Measured result coming from the device
- Open space to insert measurement when the manual gauge has to connection to PC
