LK Metrology ceramic technology CMM is guaranteed to maintain its original accuracy specification for a period of 10 years*
Should LK Metrology be unable to successfully calibrate and verify your ceramic technology CMM to its original accuracy specification, with respect to dimensional stability due to failure of a structural component† within 10 years from the date of purchase, LK Metrology will repair or replace the faulty structural component/s, at the discretion of LK Metrology and at no cost to the customer, so long as the following conditions are maintained during the 10 year period from the date of purchase.
- The CMM is operated in accordance with the instructions provided by LK Metrology.
- The CMM is connected to a power supply and air supply in accordance with the LK Metrology installation drawing.
- Only LK Metrology authorised service personnel have carried out service, maintenance, modification or repair work on the CMM.
- There is no evidence of tampering, mishandling, neglect or accidental damage.
The ownership of this warranty is transferable providing the CMM has been re-located under LK Metrology supervision and under the conditions set out above.
LK Metrology shall have no other or further liability in respect of any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage sustained by the customer arising from or in connection with this warranty.
†Structural components are defined as: (a) granite table, (b) bridge ceramic beam, (c) ceramic spindle, (d) bridge master steel leg, (e) bridge slave steel leg, (f) carriage fabrication.
