Field Service Technician

LK Metrology has been in business for over 60 years, as one of the oldest Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) manufacturers in the world today. The excellent name brand recognition and extensive
North American customer base has our organization growing at top speeds. LK Metrology is seeking a Field Service Engineer to add to our U.S. operations based in New Hudson, Michigan.

This position requires travel primarily in the United States but also throughout North America.
*Preferred home location for this role as Field Service Engineer is Connecticut and surrounding areas.

General Responsibilities Include:

• Electrical and Mechanical Field Service/Repairs
• Installation of New Products
• Product Upgrades & Retrofits
• Preventative Maintenance and Calibrations
• Weekly Paperwork: Time Sheets, Service Reports, Expense Reports, Calibration Report
• Customer Maintenance Training
• Dealer Product Support and Training
• Trade Show Support

Requirements:

• Technical Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Strong Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude
• Solutions-Orientated
• Prior Field Service Experience (preferred)
• Strong Communication and Organization skills
• Willing to Travel (80%)
• Fast Thinking, Goal-Driven.
• Prior Working Knowledge of Metrology Equipment
• Strong Customer Service Skills
